A professional and understandable construction valuation template is vital to receiving good cashflow from your client or contractor on a monthly basis.

If the clients Quantity Surveyor can understand and follow your valuation / application easily. Without asking you a lot of questions, they are less likely to deduct or pay less monies. The variation section is also vital to keep updated on a monthly basis. Even if you do not have all the information to prove the variation at this time, add the potential variation to the list in the template. This makes you much more likely to receive the projected final account figure than if you do all the variations at the end of the project. And thus surprising the client. Surprising a clients QS with costs he has not accounted for does not go down well.
